Photohunt: Undesirable

People who have been to my blog in the past week or so know that I'm on a Christmas theme through Christmas Eve.  What is wrong with these signs?  I honestly don't care if you are Christian or not, but if you want me to buy a Christmas item from you it's still Christmas to me.

One more thing.  If you are a photographer you have probably done like me and saw a shot that somebody did and it amazed you.  I see so many shots that I think "Wow, I wish I could get a shot like that".  Well I got one the other night that I'm pretty excited about and I'm saving it for December 24th.  No computer manipulation, just a little bit of planning and a whole lot of luck.  Mark your calendar for Christmas Eve and come and see.

Nice way to stay with your Christmas theme and find a post for the "undesireable" theme!

Well done!

(And: I heartily agree with calling a holiday by its proper name not a shortening.)

That's just plain lazy.

That was NOT allowed in our house growing up. If mom caught you writing the "X" word, boy-oh-boy...did you hear about it. To this day, I can't do it. I've tried, but my hand stutters and I feel the momma-guilt and I just can't do it.

Which I hope I have now passed on to my daughters.

Which I'm willing to bet that a certain two of your grandkiddos aren't able to do either. :D

You've managed to stay true to your theme! I wondered how "undesirable" would fit in. Great! And now I have to wait until well after 24 December for something special, because I'll be away from home. I'll save it up for new year. :)

Hi Bull Rhino --

And there I was originally thinking your problem was with there being a sale of Christmas items before Christmas! ;b

I love this photo! You're so talented. I am just starting my photo hobby. I appreciate your stopping by, but feel I could use a few tips. I didn't like my dog pic-- his eyes were weird because of the flash.

I'm so happy that many of you enjoyed my photo and the theme. I hope you feel the way I do when the 24th comes for my Christmas special photo. I know sometimes we build things up in our mind so much that when it comes to the real thing we are disappointed. This photo is about the Spirit of Christmas.

For Kim: Dogs' eyes do that because they don't have rods, only cones, that's how vets know they only see in B&W. If you use an on camera flash you'll get that and there isn't much you can do except Photoshop ;]

To much of any thing can be undesirable.

Thanks for stopping by and the hot cocoa is on.

I totally agree with you about the sign and the use of X-mas. That's something that really aggravates me.

Yep... I agree... the commercialization is something I find undesirable. I always love the lights and start of the season but by the end - it is just too much.

Congratulations, there you were really lucky with your photo !

I'm curious about your Christmas Eve picture. I'll be back. :)

Yes very undesirable, but the photo is good :-)

Great photo. I don't like the "X" used in Christmas either. I'll be back on the 24th -- thanks for stopping by my blog.
