The Coldest Photo I Have Ever Taken

This photo was taken a few days before Christmas, or about 6 weeks ago. It may have been the coldest I have ever been in my life even though I was dressed for the weather. The ambient temperature was probably aabout 7 or 8 degrees Fahrenheit (-14 Celsius), but the wind coming down that canyon at about 30 or more MPH brought the wind chill to well below 0 f. I got out and managed to get off three photos before I gave up and had to get back in my truck. I was afraid for the camera as much as myself. I went back to the same spot a few days ago and was kind of saddened to see that 90% of that ice is gone.

I love hearing from my visitors! Don't be shy - leave a comment.

I'm shivering in my sheepskin lined slippers just looking at it! Brrr - but pretty!
