A Study in Blue

Remember yesterday when I said that it might be more than one day of a break from snow, ice and fog? So here is day two. This was actually taken on Halloween day, about 10 in the morning aiming mostly East from Antelope Island on The Great Salt Lake, towards the Wasatch front. I left the little bit of foreground in so that you could see that I didn't alter the color - I know with Photoshop I could still have done it but I didn't. Enjoy.

I love hearing from my visitors! Don't be shy - leave a comment.

I'm not shy! I'll comment (again!) Wow... love the slight curve and the misty quality - gorgeous color, too!

This is so beautiful! I love the blue... even though it's not winter, blue makes everything feel so cold! Neat effect. :o)

Oh I'm gladd you didn't edit this photo because it's gorgeous as it is. I've got my perfect shot also this morning, no editing at all, and that's my main goal. How I love to have a dip into this lake when it's summer one day...sigh...

I'm learning Photoshop, but my goal is to take the best photos I can and not edit them in any way. I agree with you—this one needs nothing added/taken away. It's perfect.
