What is not to adore about a beautiful sunset? My problem is I think there are too many just plain sunset photos. I'm going to try to get some really good sunsets this year that are a little out of the ordinary. I took this one tonight. I like it and I'd give it a 3+ star (out of 5) but I'm going to strive for a true 5 sometime in 2010. We shall see.

Your granddaughter is absolutely adorable! But I guess all Avery's are ;) It is very cool to find/meet someone that is named or knows an Avery. It doesn't happen often. And cute nickname, by the way.

This is spectacular! I like doing different things with sunsets too it's fun, and a challenge to get lots of shots before the light diminishes.
I like the way you've got it almost in silhouette but not full dark, it's a beautiful effect.
