Capitulation - Kind of

Click photo to view enlarged

As I said the other day I wasn't going to jump on the band wagon of all the spring flower photos, simply because I like to be a little different. (Those who know me - especially my wife - say I'm more than a LITTLE different.) However, I do LOVE the spring flowers and truth be known you'll probably see a lot more of them from me this year. Every year my heart leaps in my chest when I see the first crocuses in our yard. No exception this year. So to maintain my differentness (Hmmm, the spell checker didn't like that word, maybe it's because I just made it up.) I decided to get in as close as possible with the absolute minimum depth of field and create a kind of abstract crocus photo.

This one was done this morning with the wind blowing making it a real challenge, but kind of fun. I took several photos, but this was the first and the best.

Don't be shy - leave a comment or email me.  I love hearing from my visitors!

AWESOME, Scott!

I will be all over the spring flower shots, and by then everybody else will have moved on to summer subjects. I will get the fall shots before anybody else, except maybe Elaine from Alaska. LOL!

Love this one Scott - the colours and soft focus are awesome! No flowers here yet and likely won't be for a few more weeks.

If only I could have seen your crawling on your knees to get this shot....HIHIHI.

Love it though. Wanna do this too.
The light still in it's ton sur ton of the flower at the back is amazing. Wonderful done Scott.
Now it's up to me to try this in my back yard.

Keep you informed if I layed flat on my tummy or what difficult pose I had to take....(giggels here).

Oh and next time let me talk to your wife about the you in you. I'll bet we will have a wonderful chat her and me. Sorry giggles again, couldn't resist.
Warmest hugs to make ya feel better.
