PhotoHunt: Sweet

What could be SWEETER than a walk in the park? There are a couple things and one of them is that you could be on a walk in an AWESOMELY beautiful park like Zions National Park in Southern Utah and another really SWEET thing is if some SWEET animals just happen to appear when you can get some SWEET shots of them. As I was actually not on a "walk in the park" I was standing in the parking lot waiting for my friend when I heard this "Whoosh. . .Whoosh. . .Whoosh" and turned around to see this huge crow swooping up toward the tree branch where his mate was waiting. Did you know that crows mate for life?  How SWEET it was to see the two together and even preening each other.

It had been a really SWEET day because just a couple hours earlier as I actually was on "a walk in the park" this SWEET squirrel had come out to see what we were up to. He even followed us along for a while giving us the opportunity to get several photos. He probably thought if he hung around long enough we'd give him some SWEETS, but you're not supposed to feed the animals so we didn't.

Hope you have a SWEET PhotoHunt. If you want to see SWEET photos from around the world click here.

Great shots. Both of them. And yeah, we could probably all learn a lot from crows.

I think papa crow is whispering 'sweet nuthins' in mama crow's ear!

And the squirrel ? He suddenly remembered all those nuts he left behind at home sweet home!

Sweet photos Scott!

So sweet! Love that crows mate for life. Haven't seen a squirrel in person in years (none in Hawaii). Used to see them all the time where I grew up. Cool photos for the theme this week.

Love both of these 'sweet' shots, but my favorite is the one of the lovebirds. I especially like your placement of the birds in the frame and your DOF shows them off perfectly!!
