Memorial Day 2010

It is the end of Memorial Day 2010.  I decided to visit a few of the local small town cemeteries.  I don't know the people whose graves are decorated so patriotically in the top photo, but I know they served in the U.S. military at some point.  The second photo is the grave of a good friend and former neighbor of mine.  He was a pilot in the U.S. Air Force.

Don't be shy - leave a comment or email me.  I look forward to hearing from you!

It is very fitting that there are days like this for reflection & memory.

A great tribute Scott, and beautifully photographed - an honour to those who served.

May they all rest in peace. These photos are a lovely tribute.

Great colours and DOF, I think they both contribute to the effectiveness of the shots.
