I'm not "Over the moon" about this weeks theme. I really had a tough time coming up with something because all I could think of was paying bills. I did think about the moon a couple times, but I had recently posted a moon photo so I had to go find an entirely different one. So this is my entry into this weeks PhotoHunt theme of "Monthly". I can't wait to see yours.

wow, what a wonderful photo! Such lovely colours and a golden moon, how amazing. I also thought about monthly bills and the moon, but my photo didn't come out ok - so I'm not taking part this week. I'm glad I can admire the moon from your point of view :)

I had a hard time with this one too... but I came up with something finally. :)
That sure is better than "paying bills!" I love the levels of color in this and that shining golden moon is simply wonderful.

You did an excellent job with the photo of the moon. Another forum I'm on was discussing how to shoot moon photos. A couple of ideas were to take multiple shots and combine them. I like it if I can get a shot near twilight. But it is tough not to have the moon overexposed.

That's a beautiful shot and works well for the theme. I think this was the hardest theme yet and I've been doing the photohunt for almost 3 years.

Someday I will get a better camera. love your picture. There was a great sun here at Yellowstone towards evening with clouds in front of it and some snow falling. You could have worked miracles with it.
Very nice shot Scott, and a creative way of addressing 'monthly'. I'm still experimenting with moon shots when the opportunity is there. They're getting better but not quite ready for posting. yet.

I never seem to remember to take a photo of the moon unless it is full. What a lovely photo.
