Another Phun Phriday! when I post something that hopefully is at least a little step outside the box. Something that helps add to the intrigue and interest of photography.
After getting some really great sunset shots near Island Park, Idaho, we were continuing north towards or destination of West Yellowstone, Montana when we looked up and noticed the bright moon with the very fast moving clouds. It kept appearing and disappearing as the clouds blew across the sky in front of it. This was a six second exposure where I let the earth and the skies do all the moving while my camera sat perfectly still on the tripod. As with all my RAW photographs I processed this through Adobe Bridge. I made some very slight adjustments to clarity, vibrance and tone curve in an attempt to bring out the beauty that was there that night.
Have you stepped outside the box lately and done something a little -or a lot- unusual with your camera or processing to have Phun with your photography? Please feel free to share it with a link in your comment.
Don't be shy - leave a comment or email me. I look forward to hearing from you!

Like the colors you have in the clouds. Combined with their movement makes for a mysterious and pretty picture. Were you looking over your shoulder for vampires?
I like the colors and the sense of motion in this photograph. I also like the silhouette of the trees in the foreground.

Ah, this is great. LOVE the movement of the clouds and the saturation of the sky.
A very nice phun shot Scott. It's something we wouldn't be able to see with our eyes without the help of the long shutter effect. Very creative!
Awesome shot!
