This blog is all about having Phun with photography. When photography stops being phun I'm going to stop doing it. After all, in today's digital world every photo is Just Used Pixels.

Beautiful shot. Post processing?
Thanks for stopping by Lou. To answer your question on post processing, I shoot 99.999% in RAW format and so I almost always process with Adobe Bridge. I usually increase the blacks, clarity and vibrance. Which I did on this one. Sometimes I'll alter the White balance temperature and the saturation, and sometimes the exposure. I left those all alone on this one. I left the curves alone on this, though I often adjust them slightly, I did, however, make minor adjustments in the HSL/Grayscale settings. That's it for this one. My goal is always to bring out the beauty that I saw that made me want to take the photo in the first place. Thanks for asking.
Wow! That's tremendous Scott!
Beautiful photo Scott, looks like we were both thinking along the same lines.
Love the colours and composition in this one Scott. And yes, I remember the heat, and in some places the strong smells. Beautiful shot - makes me want to visit there again some time.
Very cool, Scott! It's been delightful catching up on your stunning photos.
So many emotions evoked from this capture. I love how natural it looks for being lightly touched. Beautifully done! My favorite yet.
That aqua color is gorgeous. Someday I hope to see things like this in person - your art inspires and encourages me!!
Beautiful. One of my favorites from you.
We have looked at these your photos with my husband because your places are rare and beautiful for us.
OMG These colours are beyond ones imagination....I'm still just very very still....
Thanks for your explanations on effect. This photo is gorgeous.
Great shot! I like the way you went from dark in the lower left to light in the upper right. Great effect!
