We've had a lot of rain this week, a lot for us is an inch or so, and it has raised the level of The Great Salt Lake. This is great for us because it gives us better reflections. We had a downpour this past Friday afternoon, but by sunset most of the clouds had cleared off, leaving us just enough to create these awesome colors and reflections. This was photographed in Camera RAW mode and processed through Adobe Bridge with very little change from SOOC.

Looks like you hit pay dirt this evening. Very pretty photo. You will have to visit my blog and try to guess where I took mine.
Great shot...we can't see the sunsets here for the moutnains ..unless we happen to be on top of one!
You can see divinity in a sunset. At least by your wonderful captures! Well done!
A glorious sunset Scott... I love your sunset shots. Actually, I enjoy all your photos!
Superb!!
Beautiful evening shot! Good-night.
glorious!!
hubby and I were in your neck of the woods last August. It is beautiful out there.
Hi Scott, thanks for your invaluable remarks on my photo "Alone", I did keep
that in mind when I composed
this
photo.
Lovely sunset to end a Sunday. One of these days I'll have to come up to your 'neck of the woods' and shoot at sunset. Reminds me of one of the first shots I took when I became interested in photography years ago of the salt flats covered with water. I'll have to dig it out and post it.
One of these days I'll be able to join in on your Sunday Sunsets...
this is really beautiful - with that reflection! Love the composition of it!
