Spud Futures

(f8, 1/200, 42mm, ISO 160)

This was taken in South Eastern Idaho on our way up to Yellowstone National Park in April. The mountain peaks in the distance on the right are the back sides of the famous Teton range. By now this field is green with the famous Idaho Potatoes soaking up the nutrients of the rich soil.

Don't be shy - leave a comment or email me.  I look forward to hearing from you!

Thanks for the tip on inserting links, I'll attempt it from my blog site.

I LOVE the darker clouds at the top of the shot, and the way they balance out the dark foreground!

I am going to have a baked potato for dinner!

This is a stunning photo. I really like how the wagon wheels merge into the light of the mountains and sky. The perfect black and white without a doubt.

Very nice photo. And I like the word "embiggen"!

That sky looks a bit menacing.

I like the shot very much Scott. It looks like the world is standing still waiting for water to bring things back to life. The contrast of the snow on the mountains is dazzling!

This looks very film noir. A spud murder mystery!

Nature and human being.
As for this Landscape, they fuse.
This scenery lets me feel a magnificent story...

Greetings.

Hi there Scott this is a beauty. Love the light and B&W, the wheel is laying there just perfect with the mountains behind it.
You've done so very well in this one I believe. Hugs D.
