One Day Early

Lately I've been trying to post a new banner photo the first of each month. I know, today is the 31st so hence the title. After all . . . I couldn't compete with Sunset Sunday tomorrow (duh!). I've got another beauty lined up and so I decided to put up the new banner today. Obviously you can see the banner at the top of the page, and the photos that make it up are here just in case you want to see them a little closer.  Of course you can click to enlarge (or embiggen) them.

All of these were taken at Thanksgiving Point last week.
Have a wonderful day, weekend and week, and I hope to see you tomorrow for Sunset Sunday.

Don't be shy - leave a comment or email me.  I look forward to hearing from you!

What fantastic photos & blog you have... I just came from Dave's The Hidden Realm & saw you'd commented there & thought I'd visit you too!
Later this evening when I have a bit more time, I'm going to go thru some of your tutorials & see if I can learn a few things!
Nevertheless, I'm following your page now & will be back often to visit!

I have to agree with you. I do like the picture with the brick and old wood door. All though are very nice.

the last one gets my vote for sheer phtography, the middle one I LOVE because i like old things, i like gates and doors and it just plain appeals to the inner ME. the header is great a perfect merge.
I was at a friends today teaching her how to create a blog, she has the old square 15 in monitor. i was shocked at my header on her screen, it took up the whole screen, it looks good on my 26 inche wide screen and on the laptop but the square, i might need to think about. I like it the way it is so might leave it. i am blathering On must go look for Groan UP jokes for later. ha ha

That flower was awesome beautiful:) Loved it. You asked how i could take photos at night with so much light without blitz. The secret it, we have light all night and day in summer time. We live above the North polar circle. But i used also high iso too :)

Lovely shots for your new banner Scott! I'm partial to the water lily since I have them at home, but also like your gate and zinnia. This will be nice to look at for the next month or so.

Scott, I enjoyed seeing the banner change with the first of the month - even a day early. Thanks for the idea and maybe I'll change our house photo to include the change of seasons in our blog header. And, as always, I enjoyed the new photos, especially the close-ups.

I love all three of these images...they are crystal clear, tack sharp! Wow! The color on all is perfect and beautiful...I like open gates and doors...mysterious and inviting. Yep, Scott, I like them all!

Very nice. Esp like the door for some intangible reason and the flower bud. The colors and the background softness make a great 1-2 punch for the image. The all make a great banner too! :-)
