Evening Ride

(f6.3, 1/400, 92mm, ISO 160)

Another "Golden Hours" photo. As I was taking photos of a reservoir in the nearby mountains as the evening sun was getting low I saw this little family taking a canoe ride on the calm waters.

Don't be shy - leave a comment or email me.  I look forward to hearing from you!

Love the glowing water! I didn't notice the canoe until I read it in your description.

Beautiful light, Scott. The canoe isn't immediately obvious - but when you spot it, it does give a sense of scale to the whole image.

Hi Scott, like the colors but the canoe is way too small to make out easily - just being honest. If the red canow had been a bit larger then it would have had more impact for me.

This definitely qualifies as a 'Golden Hours' photograph. The color is gorgeous and the reflections are beautiful.

Stunning colours Scott! Love how the sun plays off the cliffs and reflects back off the water. The light also provides a sense of mystery re: where the canoeists are headed.
