Desert Designs

(f2.8, 1/200, 50mm, ISO 160)

I know I posted a different photo of these Yucca plants a few months back but I found them fascinating.  Hope you don't mind seeing them again.

I hope you're having a great week.

Don't be shy - leave a comment or email me.  I look forward to hearing from you!

Immaculate macro! The colors look great, and I like the curly fibers.

we have yucca plants, i have not seen them do this, I will have to pay more attention to those spiky leaves. i like the scroll designs it has created all by its very own self, no photoshop needed to create.

You know I've been trying to get a decent shot of these plants in b&w for a while, but haven't been satisfied. I like what you've done with yours though!

simply awesome. the luminous curls that stood out from a green background gave a dramatic effect on the entire picture.

I like the contrast between the spiky leaves and the delicate curls.

Nice composition, but the lighting is what I think makes the picture. Also the person holding the black background is doing a great job.

This is so beautiful. The graceful lines of the fibers, and the lighting you caught them in is very striking. This could be one of my favorites of your recent posts!
