Don't you think this shot could be used to introduce the Christmas season with the red berries against the green moss.
The biggest of these berries might be 1/4 inch (6.35 mm) but no bigger - I love macro shots. This was taken this morning out hunting for some nice fall colors to take photos of. We were a little disappointed on the fall colors, maybe a week too early in that area, but still got some beautiful shots, like this one. I'll be sharing more soon.
Don't be shy - leave a comment or email me. I look forward to hearing from you!

This sure would make a wonderful intro to the upcoming festive season. Wonderful macro shot Scott, such Christmassy colors.
It is way too early for fall where I live. Wow, you are seeking out the colors already? I really like your macro shot, and yes I love them too. Great bold colors going here Scott.
Very festive photo.I like how sharp it is,but the word Christmas should be off limits this time of year.
Very pretty.. Love the color contrast. Need some snow. In not too long from now Im sure I may have some to spare.
Hi Scott! This is a great shot! I was taking early Christmas card pictures last week too, with spruce boughs and water drops. :o)
I am looking forward to seeing your fall colours! Every fall I wish it would last longer but it is our shortest season, for sure.
It's supposed to snow tomorrow. It's raining right now and it's getting colder so... do the math? :o)
It looks good enough to eat.
