They look like small sunflowers or yellow daisies, but they grow in the wild like a weed. A beautiful weed in my opinion.

This blog is all about having Phun with photography. When photography stops being phun I'm going to stop doing it. After all, in today's digital world every photo is Just Used Pixels.

You're so right there Scott..they are bright & beautiful weeds, wonderfully captured by you!
we have these in the wild also and they are beautiful. this is really good, facing the sun is good for flowers and hard for photographers. i like the little bud at the bottom. the back side of flowers always interest me.
I thought they were sunflowers...nice shot...
Stunning. Some call weeds wildflowers. Love your DOF .
Very nice
I like to thinks weeds are just a flower that got misplaced. Nice picture.
That's nice, simple but pretty. I might not have put the flower right in the centre though... have you tried cropping it different ways?
I agree, Scott, they are beautiful.
The local birdlife would love those in my garden. A weed is only something you don't want in your garden. I have loads in mine, all of them beautiful. Aside from the flowers, it's a great picture.
Very beautiful indeed, and the lighting is exquisite.
Not only is this a beautiful 'weed' -- it's a beautiful photo.
Nice 'different' perspective.
I really like it Scott!

NICE !!
Truly beautiful. I love the light!
Hard to believe that this is a weed, it's beautiful and what a wonderful shot, I love the lighting you chose!
Many sunflowers are wild. There isn't just the great big faced variety. But they all remind you of sunshine and smiles as your beautiful flower does...
Oh, I think this is the same flower I took photos of in Sonoita - I couldn't remember the name either. I like your idea of taking a picture of the back of a flower.
That's the only way I like to be - facing the sun!!! ;o) Beautiful!
wonderful color!! regards
A definite sunflower, lovely. I love photos of weeds and seeds. Soon we will be seeing a lot of those.
I love flowers when they are illuminated like that. Gorgeous!
Very beautiful! I like the perspective you chose!
