Phun Phriday! # 35 - Seriously

It's Phun Phriday! again, but I wanted to do something a little different. I was going to explain all about why I took this photo etc. but I've decided to let it just stand on it's own and you tell me if it does anything to or for you and why. Of course I also always appreciate constructive criticism from talented photographers like yourselves.

As you know by now photography should be Phun and that's why I have my Phun Phriday! posts. Have you done something Phun, weird and/or creative lately? If so, leave a link to it in your comment. If not - well I'd really love to hear from you anyway.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Don't be shy - leave a comment or email me.  I look forward to hearing from you!

I would call this 'Isolation' though I can't think why when the guy was surrounding by inanimate objects. It's a classy picture, I would never have thought of such a setting. I'm a lazy photographer, though I do sometimes take unusual shots.

Like the lighting in your photo, but your subject isn't looking like he's having too much fun.

Makes me wonder if he's perhaps the first one in the morning or maybe he's part of the design team and is checking the arrangement...

With the current economic climate work places are closing left right and centre. Someone is the last to leave and this image portrays that feeling. Great lighting and sense of place.

To me it looks like he is waiting for something. A person to join him, or news of some sort. But that may be me projecting what I am going thur this week. It is an interesting photo though. Good job.

I like the fact that the photo is monochrome. I get the sense that the man is very lonely (and alone) in a room that should be bustling with people.

"Where's my order?"
A great shot that reminds me a good picture is everywhere around you. The B&W makes it pop.

What I like about it is the repeating patterns of the frames of the chairs and tables which is made more prominent via the b & w - it gives the room a stark look which in turn reinforces the expression on the man's face. Doesn't look like he's having a lot of phun.

First thing comes to mind is I wanna shit with him and offer him a coffee...(sorry has notting to do with the grapics, just love those..the way you've put the light sort of shine).
But this guy seems he's been bugged with a story needs to be shared.
Hmmmm him sitting there makes me kind of sad in a way. Do you know him or is it just someone sitting there?
Hugs D.

Good side light and the mono treatment works really well, emphasising his aloneness. The tables look institutional and he looks nervous - waitng for an interview maybe, or waiting for news in a hospital?
