Phun Phriday! # 52 - One Year

I may not be smarter than a 5th Grader, but I do know that there are 52 weeks in a year, and that means 52 Phun Phriday!s and if this is # 52 that means I've been doing this for one year . . .So, Happy First Anniversary to Phun Phriday! I can't wait until the Golden Anniversary. I'll be . . . well - let's say well over 100 years old.

Today's Phun Phriday! Photo isn't anything too far out of the box, but I thought it would be Phun to share, and if you want to try to guess what it is I'd love to read your thoughts. So let's have some Phun with this one and I'll let you know what it is within the next couple days.

Don't be shy - leave a comment or email me.  I look forward to hearing from you! Did you notice? Now you can click below and share this post with your friends on facebook!

Hm-m-m? A car grill? a rake? I'm dying to know though I like the photo without knowing. Once you tell me, perhaps you can help me with some identification problem I am having as seen on my entry for today,
Thanks if you can help me both with my own problem and eventually giving away the subject of your photo.

I can't even make out if it is a faraway shot of something large or a close-up of something small. It looks cool though.

It could be the grill to a mac truck, but whatever it is it looks cool,or is that cold?

Cool photo! I think it´s a boat up side down that is not finish yet?

Scott, my guess (and it is just that) is some sort of grill on an auto or truck.

Great abstract.
I like the lighting and the simplicity. Grill or some sort of mechanical part? The photo really gives a sense of bigness and height, which makes me wonder if it's actually something tiny and you've created this illusion of size.

Guess we'll find out! :)

My first thought was a car grill as well, but I'm definitely guessing. Whatever it is, it makes a wonderful picture.

Can you calculate that for me in dog years?

You know, these fifth graders are pretty smart, but I doubt if they'd be able to figure out how to work a slide-rule. Or dial a rotary phone, or use a phone without a dial -- just a crank. Or fid the flush lever to an outhouse. Oh, I suppose I could go on, but probably shouldn't.

Me again... I meant "find" not "fid" but it probably didn't matter...

Forgot to guess what you're showing us -- looks like a car grill to me -- I'm going to guess a 38 Chevy...

I hate not having my curiousity relieved immediately! :) My guess is a car grill and I love it!

Well Scott, despite the hour I just had to come here for a 'nice try' ;-) You enticed me first with your comment on my blog, and secondly with this great shot - I love all the lines, and how the light wanders off to the right.

Before I came to the comments I too thought it was a car grill, although if it is it looks like you changed the photo from portrait to landscape orientation.

Looks like you were having phun today, Scott !

Hi Scott, happy anniversery here and warmest hugs. You've done so well on this job. And what an amazing photo...I'm just all in silence....It looks like a building but I'm not sure. How can you see and create such an extraordinary picture of something simple as this.

Oh and 5th grader uh??? yea right.';-)))))
Happy weekend my friend Dagmar

Hey Scott - happy first anniversary - what a milestone! and by the way - great photo - like others I thought it might be a car grille - but it doesn't matter what it is, it's wonderful... as so many of your photographs are. You make others happy with the beauty you show. Thanks for sharing your point of view.
