Sunset Sunday - 52

Very ironic actually. . . Sunset Sunday # 52 - so celebrating one year of Sunset Sundays - and I'm not even posting a sunset shot.  This is a sunrise, but if I hadn't told you that you would never have known.   I'm probably down to only about 3 or 4 more of these ice formation shots.  So there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Do you have a beautiful sunset/sunrise to share? We'd love to see it. Post a link  in your comment, (click here to learn how) or just tell us it's there and we'll click on your name to find it.

OBTW, if you do post something for Sunset Sunday it would put a big smile on my face if you added a link to my blog. Thanks!

Don't be shy - leave a comment or email me.  I look forward to hearing from you! Did you notice? Now you can click below and share this post with your friends on facebook!

I really like this icy creature emerging from the ground as well as the striking nature of your image.

Ah! Iraq and Kuwait - those were the days - for me, it was one SLR loaded with Kodachrome and another with HP5. What a difference digital cameras have made!

So this and all the rest, are belly shots? I don't think I'll ever tire of seeing them.

I really don't care if this is a sunset or a sunrise. The color in the sky is beautiful and the picture is just magnificent. I'm very impressed with the way you've made these ice formations appear so large.

Another master-piece, Scott, to add to your sunset/sunrise photo book. Abstract art, gorgeous colors, lovely composition - a beauty to behold !

I posted a couple of sunsets here (sunrises are rare events for me).

There is a sculpture in Washington, D.C. that for the life of me I cannot remember the name of, but it is a man reaching up out of the ground! It is amazing and this shot reminds me of his arm reaching up. Love it.

Beautiful picture and wonderful colors. Thanks for visiting. The boats are in the salt sea water it does not freeze so easily.
