Contrast, a photo by Just Used Pixels on Flickr.
I have to admit that I find myself totally captivated by the dry warm desert scene in the foreground against the backdrop of the snow capped mountains. What a contrast.
This blog is all about having Phun with photography. When photography stops being phun I'm going to stop doing it. After all, in today's digital world every photo is Just Used Pixels.

For me I am captivated by the whispy clouds overhead. The snow is cold. Don't like cold.
AWESOME work Scott! Perfectly titled...and, I LOVE the snow!!!
so majestic against that sky.
That is a beautiful picture Scott.
It looks like a scene from a movie. Awesome.
Great picture from a beautiful landscape Scott.
Thanks for sharing.
Greetings from,
Berit.
That is a neat contrast. The clouds look great too - nice shot - as usual!
All I can say is: Opposites attract!! ;o)
The contrast -- and this photo -- is beautiful.
Made it here, Scott (despite my internet speed, or lack of ...)
Love your Moab shots - far from getting tired of them. The contrast in this one is amazing - apparent warmth in the foreground (at least in colour) vs cold in the background (I guess that snow won't be gone till June/July).
Unfortunately I couldn't see the difference in your Phun Phriday shot (likely my internet connection) but the posted version is beautiful - especially the colours and composition. What a place !
And what an awesome shot of Shaffer Trail - love those clouds, and the colours in the cliffs !
Glad I made it here !
What a beautiful photo. I love it too! It shows two extremes of weather!
