Phun Phriday # 60 - Phabulous

Besides being Phun Phriday! today is also April 1st or April Fools Day. My new blog name and design is NOT an April Fools joke. I like it and expect that the name will probably last as long as I keep posting to this blog though the design may change some day.

It's Phun Phriday, and as I was visiting our nearby Air Force Museum on Wednesday I came across this.  How could I resist?  What could be better on a Photography blog's Phun Phriday than a Phabulous Phantoms Phorever Photo reconnaissance jet?  I just hope I haven't used up all my Ps phor this year.  Oh, and as an extra bonus it kind of ties in to my new blog color scheme.

As you know by now photography should be Phun and that's why I have my Phun Phriday! posts. Have you done something Phun, weird and/or creative lately?  If so, leave a link to it in your comment or just tell us it's there so we can go find it.  If not, I'd really love to hear from you anyway.

Don't be shy - leave a comment or email me.  I look forward to hearing from you! Did you notice? Now you can click below and share this post with your friends on facebook!

Wow, I go away for just a month and yours is the second blog that I follow who made big changes. Whew, okay, I can handle changes...I think. I am looking forward to your upcoming trip to Arches and the Canyonlands because I know your pictures will show what all I saw with a much better use of pixels.

Hi Scott, WOW this new long certainly grabbed my attention - it's BOLD. I was wondering if you did the design yourself or from a template?I also like the updated photo. What a great find in that jet and I wish I had a good "P" word for my comment.

Now we know what else you do in your retirement - design new blogs ! Very nicely done, Scott.

I'm a plane buff (are there plain buffs too ?) and this one is beautiful - and this group really does exist ! I think a dream vacation for me would be to visit this aviation museum.

Here's my contribution for Phun Phriday.

Scott I love the new look! Your photos aren't as dark as they were, I wonder if it's the dark background which lightens them up or if this photo of the plane is lighter. For a while there on this end your shots were much darker than they used to be, but this one is a fantastic shot with nice lighting! Great shot!

I like the new name! I do wonder how photos will show up against such a dramatic background . . . we'll see, I guess!

I applaud your spirit of reinvention, guess I am getting pretty set in my ways!
