Strangers # 4

Yes I'm back from my trips.  You might expect that I would start out with one of the many many photos I took in Arches National Park or Canyonlands National Park or something in that area.  The problem is that I had camera trouble and so none turned out . . .  Just kidding, it is still April you know.  I want to take a little time and do a little work to make those the best I can, so you may have to wait a few days.

A few months ago I started my Strangers project (Click here to see all the "Strangers" posts and an explanation of the project).  While I was in Corvallis, Oregon - home of the Oregon State Beavers - on Monday I met this lady who was taking some photos for a Photography class that she is taking.  So I took her photo for you.  Her name is Peggy, and though she has lived in Oregon for the past many years she is from New Mexico.  As you can tell by her expression, she is a happy and very nice lady.

Don't be shy - leave a comment or email me.  I look forward to hearing from you! Did you notice? Now you can click below and share this post with your friends on facebook!

I love the strangers project, but I'm way to shy to attempt it. I live about 20 miles from that location and have ridden bikes along that path many times. Lovely lady, wonderful smile. You can tell that this is someone who loves life. Very nice capture. :)

Welcome back, Scott! I like the new format of your blog and the name!

The portrait of the lady is great! And of course she is so nice and friendly and smiling, she is from New Mexico, after all! (I love NM:)

I wish to Peggy and you happy photo hunting!
