this is amazing. really amazing. a gazillion gulls, i bet it was noisy too. beautiful. once during breeding season someone told me the pelicans were out at Anna Maria island, we got there just before day break, the started to fly in from an island in the bay and soon the sky was just like this only it was pelicans, i have never seen that many pelicans, they all landed in the water and on the beach and i was shooting and shooting. awesome nature

What a beautiful moment in time you captured, Scott - fantastic light on the gulls that really brings the photo to life. Also beautiful how it highlights the clouds.

My Sunset Sunday contribution can be found here.

[if my internet connection holds up I'll be back tonight to catch up on your recent posts]

I really like this one, Scott! This one is impressive me for a number of reasons. Start with the number of birds you captured - what a great flock and it lends a feeling of motion. I also like the somewhat muted feeling of the sunset colours.

Great work! :o) Hope you are doing well!

Scott this is one of the most amazing sunsets you have posted to date in my opinion. I love the color, the seagulls bring the photo to live and it's a stunning photo. Thank you for sharing this work of art with us!
