Blowin In the Wind

Blowin In the Wind by Just Used Pixels

Blowin In the Wind, a photo by Just Used Pixels on Flickr.
I intentionally used a long exposure because the wind was strong enough to move the flower while the bud remained relatively still. Some people will like this and some won't. It's one of those in the experimental category.

I think, compared with some of your other photos - I come in the 'don't' category.

Hmm. (I'll now hide.)

Neat. I now have a term to refer to most of my flower photos..."experimental category".
Thank you.

I have the same flowers in a pot on my deck. They are never still, and the name of it is escaping me at the moment. Nice feature to experiment with your exposures and be brave to post them.

I'm always in a quandary whether to post shots like this too. I think our eyes adjust to flowers blowing in the wind when we see them outdoors, but don't adjust as well when they're captured in a still.
