Stranger # 7

I was headed out to take a photo of an old building in a small town about 20 miles from my house when I met Royce Dye getting things set up for a marathon to be run the next morning.  He was very friendly and happy to explain what was going on.  I told him about my 100 strangers project and asked him if I could post his photo, which he was happy to cooperate with.

Don't be shy - leave a comment or email me.  I look forward to hearing from you! Did you notice? Now you can click below and share this post with your friends on facebook!

It's always so interesting how comfortable the strangers look while you photograph them. Nice!

I love this series you're doing. Another nice addition. Like someone else said, you must have a knack for getting people to relax for the photo.

What a Great concept...and a way of connecting with new people....I find most locals Love being photographed but the ones from the big city are always so suspicious and leery when you point a camera anywhere near them....

I always tell myself that I'm going to undertake some personal photo projects. Then I end up as a photojournalist instead.

Coming across this blog has caused me to kick myself in the posterior and make it happen.

I've really enjoyed the photos!

Love your project. I think stepping out of our comfort zone is what really makes us grow as photographers. People are so interesting and they are all around us. No need to travel to an exotic place!
