Hydro Power

This has been a warm and disappointing winter, so a few weeks ago I was out looking for something to photograph when I found this rushing river.  Because it was winter there really wasn't much color around, but I liked the flowing water, so since the color was absent why not make it monochrome and enjoy the texture.

Very nice in black and white. We're having a disappointing winter here too, in NY. Where's the snow!?

It is as if a giant hand has reached in and swooshed it up.

Love what you did with it. B&W and long exposure! Perfect!

Scott, no snow here either but we have flurries predicted possibly on the weekend. This shot works so well in B&W.
