I guess you don't have to be very smart to notice that I love sunsets and water, especially flowing water. So here is another from back in October and my trip to New England. This is in the state of New Hampshire.

This is gorgeous and for me a nice change from all the Valentine stuff.Since I have no one to share the day with,I get tired of herring about it.

WOW!! Just found your blog from a recommendation... I love my photography -- it really is a stress buster. I'm struggling to take my photo's to the 'next level' shall we say without having to buy more lens'... eeek not just yet anyway. I love using textures but have never really had the time to capture sunsets... so I'll just browse yours to wet my appetite. ;-)

In my view, you did an excellent job of capturing the essentials and nothing more.
The softness in the foreground compliments the background in a balanced way. The eye is drawn gracefully towards the background. Very pleasing and soothing to these eyes.

Scott, this is really a beautiful picture, the water has such a calming effect. I don't have nice waterfalls in NJ, I love waterfalls.
