This blog is all about having Phun with photography. When photography stops being phun I'm going to stop doing it. After all, in today's digital world every photo is Just Used Pixels.

So sad, wonder what Melissa's story was............
I like what you've done with this photo. I think the texture adds to the somber mood of the memorial.
Sad... nice emotion in the editing
I love texture. It sometimes just adds the pop I need. Now I want to know about the story of Melissa...
I really love this shot Scott. It looks so lovely.
Scott, guess I will be in the minority here, but aside from the sadness at seeing the cross with Melissa's name, the shot did very little for me. But then photography is subjective and this one wasn't to my liking, but may be to many others.
I am wondering if you could have added more definition in the textures in this photo. It is nicely composed.
That's got an almost 50's feel to it....nice.
Reminiscent of times gone by, the desaturation works. Still, Melissa is remembered. What made her die at 43, I wonder. Did she drown or was this one of her favorite places? Maybe both? I trust we will never know.
Hello there Scott, great to get your hugs. And wonderful to see your pics again. Hope things are better with life as it is right now, I'll be thinking about you and hope it'll make your soul a little lighter.
Love your latest style. And there is so much to learn from your Valentines picture. Whenever I shoot something like that the front (rocks) would turn out way to dark. Any idea's? Would love to fly over and stay for a week so you can teach me all the need stuff.
Bye's for now. Hugs right back at ya.
