Another work of texturing an image.
I really appreciated the comments on yesterday's texturized image, even those who didn't see it as one of their favorites. Most of the time if people don't particularly like an image they just don't comment, but once in a while it's nice to get real feedback from people who don't like it as well as those who do. To tell you the truth it was not one of my favorites either, but I was struck by that memorial, and like many of you very curious. I wanted to give it kind of a somber feeling and I liked the blurry figures in the background which were almost imperceptible as people walking the beach.
Don't be shy - leave a comment or email me. I look forward to hearing from you!

Like a painting!!!
Congratulations!!! Your are a artist!
Many greetings
Oh my...this may be one of my favorites! I want this huge...I want my room in these colors...just beautiful!
I really like the composition and subject matter here. Very nice. As you know I am not a fan of texture or other "artistic' manipulations of photos, but I respect your experimentation and having phun with all of it. That's what it is all about. Just know I do look at everything you post even if I do not comment on all of it. Have a good weekend Scott.
It almost looks like a paper boat. There is something whimsical about the image to me. I like the feeling it conveys.
Scott, I really like this one very much, very artsy, nice lighting, lovely textures and agree with Barbara on the boat looking like paper. It looks like a painting, something worth framing.
Awesome post processing here... love the painterly look. Great job. Very serene.
This is wonderful, Scott. Very well done.
I love this boat photo... The soft tones are so pleasing to the eye and those rushes just finish off the composition nicely.
Jennie. :-)
Scott, I love your venture into textures. This image is especially appealing, soft, serene, peaceful, beautiful colors, reflection and great composition. Wish I could visit more often, but when I do get a chance, I love looking at your previous posts I've missed.
Gorgeous. This is a wall hanger. Really really peaceful
Scott thanks for stopping. It means so much to me. Have a fine rest of the day.
Nice work, I like the new watermark too:)
