Sunset Sunday - 104

Click on photo to view enlarged.
According to what I learned in elementary school there are 52 weeks in a year.  That means that if this is Sunset Sunday - 104 then this should be two years of Sunset Sundays.  I went back and checked and Sunset Sunday # 1 was actually February 21st 2010.  So apparently I've missed a few weeks over the two years.  This is one of my favorites and I took it on March 11th this year.  For those who are curious it is HDR.

I will be out on a family and photo excursion for the next couple weeks so I may not get much opportunity to post or visit.  I hope you will forgive me.  I will try very hard to have a Sunset Sunday shot for each Sunday though.

We'd love to have you join in with your own sunset or sunrise photo for Sunset Sunday.  It doesn't matter when you took the photo so join us every week.  If you have one to share post a link  to it in your comment, (click here to learn how) or just tell us it's there and we'll click on your name to find it.

OBTW, if you do post something for Sunset Sunday it would put a big smile on my face if you added a link to this blog in your post. Thanks!

Don't be shy - leave a comment or email me.  I look forward to hearing from you! Did you notice? Now you can click below and share this post with your friends on facebook!

Scott this is another one of your fabulous captures, I LOVE your Sunset Sunday shots. Between you and Rick I get to see the sunset no matter where in the world I am, thank you.

I was thinking before I read your blogging that 104 sunsets is more than I see in a year living in Alberta, that's most likely one of the reasons I LOVE the Sunset Sunday posts so much. I'll most likely find a sunset to post, that's not a guarentee though so I'll not add a link here just yet.

Enjoy your time away. Cheers.

Beautiful. I love the way the water or ice in the foreground looks like tree limbs. Beautiful

Wow, I'm back in time to see this - gorgeous! Yes, I'm not posting as much right now, just taking it down for the time being to accomodate other things in life. Glad to see your stuff again, sorry I haven't been around.

Each Sunday I think you couldn't come up with a shot more marvelous than the one I'm currently viewing, but each time I come back, you've posted an image even more magnificent than the one before.

This truly is a wonderful sunset, it is the combination of the colours, the beautiful definition and the contrast between the horizontal shapes of the sunset and the branching shapes of the sand. How impressive !
