The Last Sunset

This will be the last of my 852 posts over the past almost 5 years.  It's been a lot of fun and I've met some wonderful people in cyberspace.  My blogging friends are the main thing that has kept me hanging on this long.  I truly will miss many of you.

As you know, for the past several months, most of my blog posts have been ported over from my
flickr Photostream.  If you enjoy looking at my photographs then please visit me on the flickr site.  You don't have to be a member to view the photos there, but basic membership is free if you want to join so that you can leave comments.  To get to my flickr Photos just click on the word flickr anywhere you see it in this post or over in the right column on the flickr widget.

I never say never, but for now the only thing that I can see that may bring me back to publishing here will be if I use it to post tutorials if there is ever any interest.

Best of luck for a wonderful life for all my blogging friends.  And if you are ever in the Northern Utah area, please get in touch with me.  I'd love to meet and or go out on a photo shoot with you.  My email remains the same and is available to you by going to any previous post in the last couple years and clicking on the email link at the bottom of the post.

What is going on here? Yours will be the second one this week of my favorite blogs I follow to hang it up. The Mayans must have had it right. My blogging world is coming to an end. Take care Scott and thanks for the wonderful ride off into all your sunrises and sunsets.

Well darn.. I'm going to miss seeing your beautiful images. I'll just have to check you out on Flickr. Best of luck to you, Scott. I hope it's only good things that are taking you away from blogging.

Scott! I'm so glad I stopped by here today. I've gotten away from blogging recently and am trying to ease back into it. I've had two blogs. My main one where I write as well as post a little photography and then my photo blog. I'm thinking about deleting my photo blog and using Flickr instead. I haven't posted to my photo blog since September. I do have a Flickr account and am following you there, but I haven't used it in so long. I'm also toying with opening a smugmug or zenfolio account so I can begin selling prints. Lots of decisions to make. Clearly I've been in a funk with my photography and blogging and am trying to work out of that. You have been very influential on me and a motivation as well. When I got my DSLR in 2009 you were one of the first photographers I came across through blogging. I haven't learned much since those days! I've improved a bit I suppose, but a long ways to go. Anyway, I will miss you here, but I will check you out on Flickr and maybe get to posting there again. I was uploading old photos so you may see some reruns!

Uhhhh no no no no...this can't be happening. What is wrong with my eyes....again no no no. Don't leave.
I'll be missing you way to much. I am on flickr but it's not the same. It's not blogland. Gosh Scott I'll miss you sooooooo much.

Words fail me right now. You were always around to have fun with. And you'll leave a void on my blog visits in my space in my hanging around on the net. Ugh life sucks some times.

I wish you all the fun in flickr land. Say hi to Chad for me and I'll keep bugging ya through mail.
Be well and have the most amazing xmas and happy new year.
Soft hurting hugs from my broken heart.

I will certainly miss your work, Scott, and wish you the best. I know I won't be on Flickr since I can only do one thing at a time, but know you will have lots of followers. God bless and have a great Christmas and new year.

Scott, Merry Christmas wishes a bit late, but still in the spiritbofbthis special time. Sorryntomhave read this last blog post, but as has been said..."it ain't over, till it's over" and maybe you miss posting as much as we will miss seeing your blog. It can be hard to find the time to do everything, and your photography is so amazingbthatnI can understand your decision to concentrate more on that talent. While I am not active on Flickr, I will, check out your photos there.
Thanks for sharing your talents with us so beautifully, Scott. Best wishes to you and yours in the coming New Year. And, if we ever do take a cross country trip, we will look you up!

Thank you for sharing all your wonderful photos here. You have always inspired me. I am so spread out and somehow just never spend time at flickr. Maybe one day. Wishing you a very blessed New Year.

Sorry to see you leave here Scott, you've inspired me and have had me stop in my tracks whenever I spotted the sunset, for this I thank you. When I see the sunsetting I'll definitely think back to Sunset Sunday, a lasting impression!

I'll keep an eye out for tutorials, I'd love to see you post some of them from time to time.

Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed and very Happy New Year!

Well Scott - this is both a surprise and understandable. Blogging does consume a lot of time, although one does meet many wonderful, and talented, people that way - and I certainly include you in both those categories.

I'm a little late getting here - too many requirements on my time and other distractions. Not sure if you still get comments via email, but I'll try to catch up with you on Flickr.

Thanks for all the inspiration and encouragement you've provided all these years. I trust that photography is still phun for you !

All the best, and God bless you.
