Too Late?

First of all, I must tell you that I did NOT take this photo.


Why do we not feed the bears, even from a distance?  Because the bears become dependent upon us feeding them and they do not know how and no longer have any desire to get food the hard way, by working for it.


Recipe for temporary success for the bottom feeding bears but disaster for the forest:
Step 1:  Promise the bottom feeding bears food.
Step 2:  Steal the food from those bears who have worked for it.
Step 3:  Feed the bottom feeding bears.
Step 4:  Let the bears vote for who is in charge of the forest.

Now it's too late to do anything about it for a few years, but let's watch what happens.  I predict it's going to get ugly uglier.

Tiny and Red

It was probably a macro photo that I took of a tiny flower that got me back into really enjoying photography again, so every once in a while I have to go back to my roots. (No pun intended) The little red part is no bigger than my wife's littlest fingernail.
