That's an absolutely stunning and magical shot, Scott. And yes, it must be seen enlarged.

I can feel the cold creeping off the photo, Scott ! Nice texture/effects too.

Been away for a while but went back to early Nov. to look at all your Sunset Sundays - still as amazing as always !

Looks to me that those eagles were fighting over a turkey carcass ! Great capture regardless what was for dinner.

I went out this morning to look for some frosty fotos but not anything along that magnitude! That is really something...something I wouldn't want to be in. Great photo Scott.

Gorgeous photo but oh so cold! Summer Down Under, about 32 C today. We never have snow where we live.
The horses (?) in your photo must have been cold.....

Love the photo Scott, I only wish we'd go back up to -13, it's been hovering around -30c here and darn cold!

Have a wonderful weekend, stay warm!

Sounds like our bi-polar weather! But we won't get down to 9 degrees. Brrrr, that sounds and LOOKS cold. Great pic!

My goodness, this looks really, really cold! Love the detail that emerge when enlarged. The horses seem to frozen in place, no wonder. ;-)

Congratulations on wininning Hilary's Post of the Week Award!

Best wishes for a joyful season and stay warm!
Cheers,
Merisi

Your winter animal photos are stunning, I especially like your old man winter shot - speaks to me of power, of the buffalo and the snow*!*
