Ogden Utah LDS Temple

Click on photo to view enlarged.
This photo is significant to me for a couple reasons. First it is a newly remodeled Temple of the LDS (Mormon) Church, in my home town and second it is one of my first edits in Lightroom. Up until now I've only used Adobe Camera Raw and Photoshop. So far I'm liking Lightroom quite a bit, but I've still got a lot to learn, particularly in the logistics of navigating through my images.

Don't be shy - leave a comment or email me.  I look forward to hearing from you! Did you notice? Now you can click below and share this post with your friends on facebook!

Very nice. I'm loving that purple and orange sky. And that's quite the building.

Very nicely done, Scott! I especially like how those rays coming from behind the mountains highlight the scene.

I took the plunge into LR late last year and still consider myself a novice. First thing I did was to catalog my last 2 years of photos - made life much easier when it came time to find photos for my annual family calendar. And quite a powerful photo editor also.

Lovely sky and coloring. (I would be lost within Lightroom!)

Beautiful photo!! I have been looking everywhere for the perfect photo of the new Ogden temple! There aren't any stores (ex:Deseret book or the church distribution center) that are carrying the Ogden temple prints, at least what I have in mind. My sister is getting sealed there next week and I would love to give her a copy of this photo. It's perfect! My husband, Ryan, emailed you. Hope to hear back soon- thanks!!
