Skagit

My first time to a Tulip Festival.  This one was held in Northwest Washington and called the Skagit County Tulip Festival.  Hundreds of acres of tulips to enjoy.  I've got more if you like them.

Don't be shy - leave a comment or email me.  I look forward to hearing from you! Did you notice? Now you can click below and share this post with your friends on facebook!

Tulips are so photogenic. I go to the one at Thanksgiving Point every year since it is about 5 minutes away from my home. Love the layers of color in this image. P.S. Re your ladybug comment: I too have tried for years to get a decent photo of a ladybug with no success. Those darn little things just move too fast. This spring I finally managed to get 2 decent photos. Here's
the other one.

Easy to understand why the Dutch have always had an obsession with them. Vivid colours, and a variety of shapes. Nicely presented.
