It certainly looks like this tunnel used to be open to vehicular traffic, but now, thankfully, it is pedestrian only. It is located just west of Horsetail falls on the Columbia River Gorge. Yes, this is HDR.

This one was taken last Sunday after the eclipse.  Unfortunately the clouds hid the eclipse from me, but they tried to make up for it.

For those of you in the US I hope you have a wonderful Memorial Day tomorrow.  I'm off camping so I do not have Internet access for a few days.  I will check in when I get back.

I recently returned from a trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming USA where I took a lot of photos of the Teton Mountain range, which is West of Jackson Hole. Most of the photos were actually in Teton National Park, which borders Yellowstone National Park.

Please join us for another Sunset Sunday. This photo is actually a sunrise shot taken this past Monday morning at 6:20 before the sun had come over the horizon to illuminate the mountain peaks.

This past week has been crazy as I spent much of it in Wyoming taking photos and then I had to get a new computer which I have been trying to get set up. Above Multnomah, a photo by Just Used Pixels on Flickr.
This may be considered part of the Multnomah Falls, but it is just not visible from where you view Multnomah Falls from below. If you were to stand in the lower right corner of this image you would be only a couple feet from going over the upper falls, a drop of 542 ft (165 Meter) to the pool below.

Rushing to the Falls, a photo by Just Used Pixels on Flickr.
The smaller of a couple streams that combine to create the beautiful Multnomah Falls in Oregon. This was taken several hundred feet upstream from the falls.
