As I look back I see that the passage of so many years has certainly thinned out any of the photos that I would now call Street Photography. Kind of a shame. I truly wish I had done a better job of keeping some of those old photos as I must have been a closet Street Photographer, even to myself, and taken many more that I've lost over the time.

I skipped a few years in doing any kind of Street Photography but was exploring somewhere in South Korea. I was there from late 1971 to late 1972 so this was undoubtedly taken in 1972. I thought this young boy carrying his sister was just to great of a shot to let pass.

About Author
Photography and Film/Video have always been an important part of my life since I was in my teens and got my first camera. I received my Bachelor’s in Photography, Art and Communications while I owned some photo studios where I did mostly portraits and weddings more years ago than I care to count. In the mean time I completed a career of nearly 30 years in the U.S. Army where I served from Vietnam to Iraq and Kuwait and lots of places in between. Today, photography is strictly for fun. I don’t consider myself too old to learn and find the best way to learn is to share. I look forward to reading your comments and to the continued improvement of my photography and this blog.
