Sunset Sunday - 114

This one was taken last Sunday after the eclipse.  Unfortunately the clouds hid the eclipse from me, but they tried to make up for it.

Spring Runoff & Answer to Yesterday's Question

Another photo from my hike in the Columbia River Gorge in March. I think I have fixed the issue on this image and future images so that if you follow the instructions at the top of the page you should see the photo enlarged on black background. When you get there you can hit f11 for full screen view.

It appears that several of you picked up on the amazing coincidence in yesterday's photo. There are two groups of birds flying by just barely above the water and the first, second, fourth fifth and sixth bird of the second group almost look like clones of the first through fifth of the second group.  Only that # 3 of the second group is out of step.   I thought that was pretty amazing.

What Are The Chances???

As I was about to delete this image I saw something very strange. Do you see it too? This is an SOOC image taken by me and nothing has been done to change it in any way from what was actually there. I know that sounds redundant, but if I had not taken the photo myself I probably would not believe it was real.

Barn on Mormon Row

There are two similar looking barns on what is called "Mormon Row". This is one of them and I've posted one of the other recently here.   Don't be surprised if you see several more photos of them in the future.   OBTW,  the animals you see are Buffalo.  The first day we were there there were probably a couple hundred around the area, the next day . . . less than a dozen remained behind.

Sunset Sunday - 112

Yes, it is another Sunset Sunday.  If you look closely at this week's photo it may look familiar.  The fact is that this is a rework of a photo I posted just a few weeks ago.  Using a new technique that I learned in Photoshop I was able to bring out much more of the blue shades that existed but weren't showing up in the previous post.  Let me know if you think this is an improvement.
